Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter Creamy peanut butter works best for rolling.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Helps make the filling firm.
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened Real butter makes a difference.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional for extra flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt Use if peanut butter is unsalted.

Coating

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips You can also use a chocolate bar.

Instructions
 

Preparation & Rolling

  • Mix together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and softened butter using a wooden spoon or your hands.
  • Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls and place them on a lined pan.
  • Freeze the balls for 15 minutes to make the dipping process easier.

Dipping

  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
  • Dip each ball into the melted chocolate using a fork or toothpick.
  • Place coated balls back on the lined pan.
  • Chill for 20 to 30 minutes or until the chocolate sets.

Notes

Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for about a week, or freeze for a month. Let sit at room temperature before eating after freezing.
