  • 1 cup whole raw almonds Roasted almonds can be used, but raw feels fancier.
  • a pinch sea salt Optional for those who enjoy a salty-sweet combination.

Preparation

  • Dump your dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat it in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
  • Toss in the almonds and stir until every nut is coated with chocolate.
  • Scoop small mounds onto a parchment-lined tray.
  • Sprinkle a bit of sea salt on each mound if desired.
  • Place the tray in the fridge and allow 10 to 15 minutes for them to set.

Notes

Store in an airtight container. These can last about a week at room temperature or in the fridge. For longer storage, they can be frozen.
