  • 1 lb chopped lobster meat Fresh or frozen, thawed and drained.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Use light or Greek yogurt as alternatives.
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice Add zest for extra flavor.
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped Can substitute with parsley or tarragon.
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped For added crunch.
  • to taste salt Adjust according to preference.
  • to taste pepper
  • optional Old Bay seasoning or smoked paprika For an extra kick.

For assembly

  • 4 pieces top-split rolls Or any sturdy hot dog buns.
  • 2 tbsp butter For toasting the rolls.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Gently fold in the chopped lobster and celery.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Toast the rolls in the skillet until golden brown.

Assembly

  • Once the rolls are toasted, fill them generously with the lobster mixture.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges and enjoy outdoors for the best experience.

Notes

For a healthier version, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt or use lettuce wraps instead of bread. Always taste the filling before serving to adjust seasoning.
